A Little Goes a Long Way

Physical Exercise

Physical activity evokes cardiorespiratory fitness. Studies support that Cardiorespiratory fitness has been shown to help improve mental health (Janssen et, al.,2020).

Benefits

Exercise reduces high blood pressure, weight management, reducing the risk of type 2 diabetes, stroke, heart disease, and various cancers. Physical activity that is practiced 30 min per day and replaces sedentary behavior reduces the mortality risk from cardiovascular disease by 24%. (Bentlage et al., 2020)
